"I feel sorry for her".

Clara Harris, the Houston area resident who was convicted of killing her husband by running him over several times was released from prison on Friday.

The couple's then-17-year-old stepdaughter was in the auto with Clara Harris and testified in court that she had run over David Harris three times. Clara Harris fought with the woman before striking her husband with her Mercedes-Benz in the hotel's parking lot and repeatedly running over his body. The act was caught on camera by private investigators hired by Harris.

Clara Harris served 15 years for the murder, which made headlines worldwide and was featured in a made-for-television movie.

The case drew worldwide attention- and even Oprah herself interviewed Harris behind bars! When told that her husband could be found with his former receptionist, Gail Bridges, at the Nassau Bay Hilton, Harris flew into a jealous rage.

As her husband lay on the ground, Harris drove the vehicle around the parking lot several times, running over David Harris three times.

In court, prosecutors said Lindsey had "a front row sea" to her father's murder. She must also remain in the Greater Houston area, stay employed and have no contact with the Harris family or her husband's former mistress.

The attack came amid fears that her husband of 10 years was having an affair with his former employee.

She got into a grey SUV, received a warm, big hug and drove off to a very uncertain future.

She had a long drive back to Galveston County to think about that.
