Philadelphia Eagles RB Jay Ajayi faces lawsuit, denies he shoved mansion owner

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jay Ajayi faces lawsuit, denies he shoved mansion owner

Ajayi and a friend rented the mansion on the Sunset Strip after the Eagles won the Super Bowl in February, according to the report.

Per TMZ, a rep for Ajayi denied any wrongdoing, including the alleged shoving or property damage.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Jay Ajayi is reportedly the subject of a lawsuit centered around his behavior while staying in a Los Angeles mansion.

Eagles running back Jay Ajayi really hit the jackpot past year when the God-awful Miami Dolphins traded him to Philadelphia in the midst of what became a Super Bowl-winning season.

The suit accuses Ajayi of throwing parties at the mansion despite being told that wasn't permitted.

Ajayi denied the accusations through a representative, saying Ajayi and his group actually left the house earlier than the planned five days, but still paid the full price for the rental.

TMZ noted the owner charges $5,000 per party, but Ajayi did not pay the $25,000 penalty fees he accumulated. In the process, he "broke a table, scratched some floors and violated the no-smoking rule", according to TMZ, which has seen the lawsuit. The property owner said he had to call security to have Ajayi escorted from the premises.

However, the owner says that Ajayi refused to pay.

Ajayi was traded to Philadelphia from Miami in the middle of last season.

In seven games with Eagles, Ajayi accumulated 408 rushing yards and one touchdown on 70 carries.
