HP launches the first-ever all-in-one PC with integrated Alexa

It is the newest device to the HP ENVY portfolio: a 13-inch convertible with AMD Ryzen with Radeon Vega Graphics, multi-threaded processing, powerful integrated graphics and up to 11 hours of battery life.

If you would prefer more display real estate, there'll be a 15.6-inch Envy x360 15 with exactly the identical hardware choices starting at $750.

Memory and storage configurations will vary by specific model, but options include PCIe NVMe SSDs and 1TB HDDs with 16GB Intel Optane modules installed. The 15-inch model comes with either Intel or AMD processors, an optional 4K display, and up to 12 hours and 45 minutes od battery life.

Gagan Singh, vice-president of product management, premium commercial notebooks and security and innovation for HP, told reporters during a conference call that the Elite lineup is targeting startups and growing businesses. You can also spec it with up to Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics. It weighs 1.2kg, even with a 13in 4K screen. HP also said the 1050 G1 would offer up to a total of 4TB SSD storage and up to 16 hours of battery life.

The refreshed EliteBook x360 is billed as the "world's smallest business convertible", at only 2.76 pounds and up, staying on for a maximum of 18 hours between battery charges, and featuring a unique alert system making sure you'll never lose your laptop's active pen. HP also claimed that the EliteBook x360 1030 G3 sports a first-of-its-kind outdoor viewable display, but it didn't go into the specifics of the feature. One of the business-focused machines is the HP Elite 1000 series, HP says these machines are among the world's most secure and manageable PCs. Lastly, the HP Envy Desktop has diamond-cut corners, 8th Generation Intel Core processors, options for Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics, and options for Intel Optane memory (May $800). The ENVY AiO 27 will have a smaller, 27-inch screen and won't be curved, but it will be more affordable.

HP has also announced an EliteDisplay S14 which will allow users to add a secondary 14-inch display to their notebooks and workstations. The device is designed specifically for collaboration with a pop-up FHD webcam, integrated collaboration keys, and audio featuring noise cancellation.

The new HP products will be rolling out in the EMEA starting this month, with the Envy 13 Laptop, Envy AIO 27, and Envy Desktop arriving in May starting at £849, £1,799, and £899, respectively. They also have sound tuned by Bang & Olufsen, service for Gigabit Wi-Fi rates and new HP Control Center software, which enables you to quickly enhance functionality, fan sound and system temperatures based upon what you need.

The HP Elite 1000 series has been updated with the launch of the EliteBook x360 1030 G3, Elite x2 1013 G3 and EliteBook 1050 G1. While the Envy 13 starts at $999.99 (approximately Rs. 67,500), the Envy 17 comes with an initial price of $1,049 (approximately Rs. 70,900).

As of press time, Canadian prices and availability were not yet available.
