Girls' lacrosse: Henry Clay pulls out another close one over SC

Riley Tull and Lauren Allen each scored two goals to lead the Lady Cards (3-2).

Allyna Threatt scored four goals and Jade Kakuk had three goals and three assists to lead Old Mill to a 14-1 victory over North County on Friday. Scannell also chipped in with three draw controls and a ground ball, while Graziano collected four ground balls and three draws. Senior Beth Ann Pierce (Middleburg, Virginia/Saint John's Catholic Prep) chipped in with a pair of goals, while classmate Michele Scannell (Smithtown, New York/Smithtown East) and post grad Jill Graziano (New Hyde Park, New York/New Hyde Park Memorial) each registered a goal and assist. Julia Putzi added a goal and an assist for the Falcons. Sophomore midfielder Katie Welch followed up with her second goal of the game to make the score 9-7 and then sophomore attack Bailey Herr scored with 7:07 remaining to extend the lead.

Megan Bunker scored three goals, Sarah Mathes chipped in a goal, Cali Schwerdtfeger handed out an assist and Albany Bloor made eight saves for Indian Creek (0-5).

Dominican jumped out to a quick lead in the opening half by scoring the game's first five goals.

Orangeburg, N.Y. (4/14/18) The Lady Chargers lacrosse team defeated Felician University in a CACC contest by a score of 18-1. Chase Flinders was responsible for one caused turnover and picked up four ground balls.

Southern Virginia continued to dominate in the third frame, scoring six more times to bring the unanswered goal streak to 13.

The Bombers are back in action against Bard College at 4 p.m. April 20 at Higgins Stadium.
