Alia Bhatt shines as 'Sehmat' in Raazi

Raazi is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka's novel Calling Sehmat.

Treading this path of spying and living on the edge, Sehmat gets married to a Pakistani officer (played by Vicky Kaushal).

Raazi will presented by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions and produced by Karan Johar. Alia Bhatt plays Sehmat, a Kashmiri woman recruited by the Research and Analysis Wing to gather intelligence about Pakistan's plans for the war.

Alia Bhatt, who is playing the main lead, says the audience will see her in a completely different avatar in the film. Alia can be seen smiling at Vicky Kaushal in the poster. The trailer of Raazi proves Alia's passion for her job and showcases her prowess like never before. While on the one hand, she is training to control guns and physical fights, on the other she stays mum even when her Pakistani in-laws speak ill of India. Her information helped the Indian army prevent that from happening. Alia is shown as an obedient daughter, a ideal wife, and a fearless spy.
