World Will Be Adding Deviljho, a Spring Festival, and Much More

During the same time period, a new rocket-powered Great Sword weapon, the Wyvern Ignition will also be available, presumably earned through an event quest.

Before you dive into that though, you might want to watch Deviljho take on one of the most annoying monsters in the game!

Only yesterday did we talk about how Monster Hunter World and Devil May Cry have announced a collaboration with one another.

Also coming is the Spring Blossom Fest, an event running from April 6-20, which gives the Gathering Hall a flowery makeover, complete with a giant Poogie lantern and nighttime firework shows.

Now shifting things to a much lighter mood... shortly after the arrival of the mean pickle in Monster Hunter: World, we'll be hosting our very first seasonal event: the Spring Blossom Fest.

Moving on, here are the weapon changes and other stuff tweaked in the big spring update.

The March update is also going to introduce plenty of balance changes for most weapon types as well as new features.

Great Sword: increased the damage for Charged Slash abilities.

Hunter cosmetic appearance (hairstyle, facepaint, etc.). One extra detail worth noting is the introduction of Character Edit Vouchers, which will allow you to change your hunter's gender and appearance. More details to come.

Other major changes include reduced loading times, the ability to return to the Gathering Hall multiplayer area after a quest, alongside a raft of balance tweaks to nearly all of the game's 14 weapon types. If weapon changes aren't enough, rejoice as the March 22 update will also make it so ally attacks can no longer interrupt the carving animation. A recent report from Famitsu seems to have given us the release date for the Monster Hunter World Deviljho DLC - and it's coming pretty soon.
