Nick Gordon Arrested Again - See His Mug Shot

Gordon had told the officer he just wanted his girlfriend to leave the home because he claimed she had ripped his shirt and thrown a bottle at him.

His live-in girlfriend told deputies that she picked up Gordon, 29, from a Sanford bar and he began to strike "her on the right side of her cheek area several times", the arrest report said.

Gordon was found legally responsible for the death of Brown, who died at 22 in 2015.

Gordon was arrested for Battery Domestic Violence, and posted a $500 bond. His next court appearance for the domestic violence charge is April 6.

Deputies said Leal, however, had a slightly swollen bottom lip with dried blood. He claims she attacked him for no reason, and that she was "crazy". The officer then took Nick into custody, but his girlfriend refused to press charges against him. The pair continued to argue when they returned to his home.

Gordon was arrested in Seminole, Florida, on Saturday following a dispute with his girlfriend, Laura Leal.

Gordon was previously arrested for allegedly kidnapping and beating Leal in June a year ago.

Meanwhile, Gordon was ordered to pay $36 million to Brown's estate in 2016 months after being found legally responsible for her death. The lawsuit had alleged Brown "died due to a violent altercation" with Gordon, "after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture".

While the circumstances of this latest incident are unknown at this time, it's hardly the first incident of domestic violence involving the 27 year old. A wrongful death lawsuit is not a criminal charge of murder, which requires the burden of proof to be "beyond doubt".
