Kristen Wiig will play the villain Cheetah in the "Wonder Woman" sequel. To keep up the anticipation, director Patty Jenkins gave the audience an exciting bit of news.

The casting, as shocking as it may be at first, is one of the first official details concerning Wonder Woman's sequel.

To quote one of Kristen Wiig's most enduring Saturday Night Live characters, ohhhhhhhh my godddddddd, I'm just so freakin' excited! Diana, on the other hand, sees Cheetah who is lost and needs to be saved. But in recruiting Wiig to a DC villain role that could have gone in a troubling direction, the filmmakers have added a promising piece to this project.
