Giants Decline Comment On Viral Video Of Odell Beckham Jr

According to the New York Post, the woman's name is Laura Cuenca and she's an aspiring model in France. Beckham appeared to have a brown cigarette in his hand, a pepperoni pizza between them, and the woman appearing to hold a credit card near a plate with lines of a white substance on it.

Cuenca had her Instagram page set to private.

"He left the morning [after] to take his planes for Madrid", she claimed, refusing to elaborate.

There have been no indications that Beckham has ever failed a drug test while in the NFL.

The Daily News asked Cuenca what Beckham is holding in the video.

Cuenca did not confirm nor deny when asked if the white substance was cocaine. Beckham also can be heard telling the woman "I'm trying to get you to sleep with ..." before the audio cuts out. The exact location of the footage remains unknown.

While it's unclear when the video was made, Beckham's behavior is back on the radar of Giants' management.

The Giants told Nicholas Parco and Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News they are "aware" of the situation, but had no further comment on the video. Beckham is in search of a long-term contract extension that could be worth $20 million per year. Beckham performed poorly in a blowout loss to the Packers, and afterward smashed his hand through a wall outside the Giants' locker room, prompting then-general manager Jerry Reese to say the next day that Beckham needed to "grow up".

The video lasts only a few seconds, but it has raised enough suspicions to attract the attention of the Giants and the NFL.

The 25-year-old, who already set quite a few records in his three years in the National Football League, has been known for his off-the-field antics, but above all the champagning and campaigning he's still primarily universally recognized for The Catch. All of this has led Leonard to voice during a recent interview that he believes that Beckham Jr. won't be a member of the team by the 2018 season opener.

It remains unknown how the video could affect his asking price - if at all.

This is not the first Beckham has been linked to illegal substances.

He also angered the Giants' co-owner earlier this year when he pretended to pee like a dog while celebrating a touchdown against the Eagles in September. "'I told him that in no uncertain terms". This video will obviously play a role in negotiations between the two sides.
