Fred Warmbier attended the opening ceremony as the vice president's guest.

"We will continue to urge North Korea to take specific action toward resolving the issues of abductions and nuclear and missile development under close cooperation among Japan, South Korea and the United States". Moon hosted talks with Kim Yo-jong at the the presidential Blue House in Seoul.
