Trump will reportedly undergo formal health check amid claims about mental state

Trump takes Crestor for his cholesterol, a low-dose aspirin for heart attack prevention, Propecia to treat male-pattern baldness and antibiotics for rosacea. "It's really important to get them during the first year to let them know what they're experiencing is normal in an abnormal circumstance".

Jackson, the president's physician for three consecutive administrations, is scheduled to speak with reporters on Tuesday after compiling lab results over the holiday weekend - an unusual step in this annual White House ritual.

Several past presidents have had major health issues while in office that were kept from the public.

Among the most prominent was Woodrow Wilson, who suffered a stroke that left him incapacitated, a fact that was kept from his own Cabinet.

John F. Kennedy had several health problems, most notably Addison's disease, an adrenal gland disorder, which was concealed from the public.
