Magnanimous Star Celine Dion Helped a Disruptive Fan During Her Show

The incident took place at a show in Las Vegas last week, when the woman walked up to Celine during her performance.

According to a statement on Dion's Facebook page, she missed Tuesday night's show at the Colosseum because she was "recovering from inflammation of the throat" and was ordered "to take one more day of rest in order to fully recover".

Dion then held back security from removing her from the stage as she paid tribute to the woman's efforts.

As seen in fan footage of her concert from Friday, Celine was addressing the crowd when a woman who appeared to be intoxicated decided she wanted to share the stage with the singer.

It had been speculated that the incident may have led to Celine's Saturday concert cancellation, but a representative for the singer at the time insisted that she was just feeling "under the weather". If you're Celine Dion, on the other hand, you can handle it like the absolute queen that you are.

"You know what?" Dion said.

"Let me tell you something: I'm glad you came up onstage tonight", Dion tells the fan in video from the evening. "Thank you so much for your patience".

"The two women engage in an adorable conversation that went something like "'I love you". "I thought you just wanted to come closer to me", Dion told the fan. "I want to say thank you to all of you, because for maybe five minutes we had given this lady a moment to talk".

She recently said: "Oh don't get me started now".
