Louis-Based Agent Allegedly Filmed Players Showering In His Home

FanRag Sports reports, Woods filmed several of his clients while they showered using hidden cameras at his home. While Yahoo Sports couldn't corroborate the nature of the filming, sources confirmed the MLBPA is investigating allegations Wood (no relation to the ex-MLB player) recorded players at his St. Louis home.

The The Washington Post published a statement from CSE president Danny Martoe on Wednesday evening.

Fanrag claims to have "multiple sources" who say other players were filmed by the agent.

CSE Talent said in a statement Wood had been dismissed after failing to uphold the company's "moral and ethical standards". "We take pride in working with people who represent these values". The union, which certifies agents, said it would give Wood a chance to respond.

Jason Wood, formerly head of the baseball division at CSE Talent, described the allegations as "absurd and untrue".

It continued by saying that over the last 13 years he has worked to build his agency into a success through hard work and integrity. The New York Daily News reported that he has been suspended by the union pending that inquiry. He added that he was disappointed there exists those who chose to spread harmful and irresponsible rumors.

Other clients of Wood include infielder Cody Asche, who was signed by the Royals to a minor-league contract in November, and Rays pitchers Jake Odorizzi, the former Royal, and Ryne Stanek, a former Blue Valley star.

An agency spokesperson told ESPN's Scott Lauber that none of the players represented by Wood, including?
