Leonardo DiCaprio Signs on to the Latest Tarantino Flick

Quentin Tarantino is gradually pulling together his latest film - a Los Angeles-based film set against the backdrop of the horrific Charles Manson murders which took place in the '60s - and now Leonardo DiCaprio is attached, according to Deadline. Leo is reportedly portraying an ageing actor whose life intersects with the murders. While the Manson angle won't be the focus, Tarantino has been talking to Margot Robbie about playing Sharon Tate and both Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt have been circling the movie. The new movie will mark a reunion with Django Unchained's Leonardo DiCaprio.

Academy award-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio's is in talks to star in the now untitled project about American criminal Charles Manson and the Manson Family murders directed by Quentin Tarantino.

Deadline claims Tarantino is hoping to team with actress Margot Robbie, now enjoying accolades for her role as Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, for the role of Tate.

The film is being produced by Harry Potter's David Heyman, Tarantino and Shannon McIntosh, with Georgia Kacandes exec producer and line producer.

Tarantino's Charles Manson movie will be the first one DiCaprio will make after winning an Oscar in 2016 for his performance in "The Revenant".

It is likely more of the cast is assembled than we know, as the movie begins shooting later this year in California and is galloping toward its August 2019 release date.
