EA Originals Game 'Fe' Release Date Set For February

This week's Nintendo Direct Mini presentation featured a look at Dark Souls, Mario Tennis Aces, The World Ends With You Final Remix and ports of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and Hyrule Warriors.

During the Nintendo Direct Mini yesterday, a Switch version of The World Ends with You, often acronymed TWEWY, was announced. It also gives the large number of us who missed out on the Wii U a chance to play these games, which is nice because Nintendo released some excellent titles for its ultimately doomed console. The game will feature many characters, missions, boss battles and a story mode.

NPD has yet to share an official press release on the sales of consoles and games during the month of December 2016.

The Super Mario Odyssey will get a new competitive game mode. Case in point: Nintendo France's managing director stressed the EA will most likely "double down" on the Switch this year with the 2018 World Cup on its way. First off, the games. Many reports stats has cleared that no doubt Switch was the victor previous year who is the most selling console. Seeing Square giving players the choice is a good thing to see and a positive step forward for accessibility in games. You can even craft weapons out of your available supplies, which means a lot of tiny prisoners shanking tiny prison guards.

Nintendo will need a big, original game for late 2018, and our money is on Animal Crossing.

Speaking of Donkey Kong, everyone's favorite ape will also be entering Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle as a playable character this spring.

The reveal of Dark Souls: Remastered for the Switch confirms a rumor that has been simmering ever since Nintendo first announced the Switch. The games that released for the 3DS and Wii U (Open and Ultra Smash) were both poorly received due to their lack of content, whereas the earlier games were critically acclaimed and typically featured a story mode. New content for a 10-year-old game? This update will upgrade the anime-inspired classic with HD-quality visuals and a new epilogue.
