Are Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone engaged?

Ranveer was seen at an airport in Sri Lanka last week on Thursday along with Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani.

It looks like rumoured couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are indeed following the footsteps of the newly Wednesday couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma who surprised everyone with their secret wedding in Tuscany, Italy on December 11. Moreover, they will fly to Sri Lanka along with their respective families for celebrating Deepika's birthday after which the engagement ceremony is to be held.

As per a report in India Today, post birthday, the engagement is supposed to take place in the country.

Having joined Priyanka Chopra in the overseas adventure, Deepika Padukone starred alongside the likes of Vin Diesel for the action thriller xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage.

Padmavat stars Deepika as Rani Padmini of Chittor, Shahid Kapoor as her husband Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer as Alauddin Khilji. While shooting on the sets, both started dating and have continued to do so for the past five years.

Earlier, there were rumours that Deepika and Ranveer were planning to get married this year.

Her performances in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013) and Piku (2015) got her 2 Filmfare Best Actress Awards. She is likely to exchange rings with Ranveer in Sri Lanka. Though the couple remains tight-lipped about their relationship in public most of the times, we think that they will make an official announcement if they plan to tie the knot anytime soon.
