TVS Apache RR310 launched in India at Rs2.05 lakh

The ex-showroom price of TVS Apache RR 310 will be ₹2.05 lakh. "We are confident that customers will find it to be a ideal combination of racecraft technology and riding dynamics".

The two-wheelers and three-wheelers manufacturer company, TVS Motors, on Wednesday, announced the launch of their New motorcycle TVS Apache RR 310. Driven by our promise of delivering more to customers than their expectations, TVS Apache RR 310 is the beginning of our breakthrough into the super-premium category.

Conceding that the more than three decades of learning from the race track had immensely benefited TVS Motor in its entry into the super-premium space, Mr. Venu expressed optimism that the new offering would go a long way in beefing up its market position in the segment.

The new Apache RR 310 looks striking, to say the least. We started building our premium brand Apache RTR with 150cc and succeeded in raising the customer aspirations with 180cc and 200cc bikes. "The Apache RR310 will offer customers a chance to upgrade from premium to super premium category". The fuel infused engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox and produces 34PS at 9,700rpm and a pinnacle torque of 27.3Nm at 7,700rpm.

TVS claims the Apache RR 310 can sprint from 0 - 100km/h in 2.63 seconds with a top speed of 160km/h.

The company has launched a wide range of activities, including racing championships, creating clubs and training riders, as part of its promotional activities for its Apache RR (Race Replica) model. This allows for enhanced stiffness in straights, and flex for dynamic cornering capability, which according to TVS leads to best-in-class riding dynamics.

The TVS Apache RR 310 sports a fully-faired, sporty design with superior ergonomics to ensure maximum ride comfort. It is also outfitted with Michelin Street Sport tyres, and is the first sub-500cc motorcycle to use these. The RR 310 is equipped LED projector head lamps, a vertical speedometer and tachometer, and dual channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) to prevent uncontrolled skidding, and a host of aerodynamic features to assist the young racer.

In the domestic market, the motorcycle will compete with Mahindra Mojo, Bajaj Dominar, KTM 390 Duke, KTM RC 390 and the Benelli 302 R. The Apache RR 310 will be available in two shades - red and matte black.

"We are looking to sell 10,000 bikes in the first year".
