Old Diablo-alike Titan Quest coming to Switch, PS4, Xbox One

Included will be the full Titan Quest game plus Immortal Throne expansion, but not the game's new Ragnarok expansion, released last month. This was a game first released in 2006.

Titan Quest will be released digitally and in stores for all of the aforementioned consoles. There will be online co-op for up to six people, and "remastered graphics" to bring the game up to date.

The Titan Quest Collector's Edition includes a physical copy of the game on your platform of choice (along with the Immortal Throne expansion), a branded notebook, and a replica Greek war helmet that stands at 9.15 inches.

Titan Quest is an isometric-style action-RPG centered around magic, swords, sandals and larger-than-life clashes with mythological creatures. The set costs $110 for PC and $119 for PS4 and Xbox One.

For the game's 10 sup th anniversary in 2016, THQ Nordic released a re-mastered version that fixed a lot of age-old problems.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions have been announced for March 20 2018, with a Switch version coming "when it's done". Players will need to travel to ancient Greece, Egypt and China in order to defeat the evil Titans after they escape from the respective prisons.

Titan Quest will be competing with the much more recent Diablo 3 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, although there are now no titles similar to the game on the Nintendo Switch.
