Huawei P11 camera specs leak

Continuing its collaboration with Leica, the Huawei PCE is listed with a Pro Triple-lens Leica camera setup that's capable of producing 40MP image and has 5X Hybrid Zoom. Now new reports have surfaced online that Huawei may launch a photography-centric smartphone series in the coming weeks. The same company that co-engineered the cameras in the Huawei P10 and Huawei Mate 10.

The upcoming Huawei P-series smartphone dubbed the Huawei P11 is rumored to feature not two, but three camera sensors in the rear of the device thus allowing the rear camera setup to take images up to 40MP in resolution with 100% extra light and better stabilized night shots.

The ads were posted by known mobile tipster Evan Blass, who claims they're from a creative agency that works with Huawei. Huawei declined to comment on the ads.

The Chinese phone developer was the first phone company to introduce a dual rear camera. Transitioning to a 24-megapixel front camera would be a significant step up from the P10.

We are speculating the case, but with this news, it sure looks like Huawei is going all out with the new smartphone.

Over the past few years, Huawei has focused a lot on the camera quality of its flagship devices, partnering with Leica to offer users with excellent photographic capabilities. Moreover, Pro Night Mode will ensure you "shoot gorgeous night scenes" without a tripod. The Pro AI assist seems as if it will be an improved auto mode to detect faces and scene recognition to improve photos. It's also possible that PCE is just a dummy placeholder to hide its actual name of Huawei P11.

The P11 is likely to be one of 2018's hottest smartphones, with a launch date expected around MWC in February.
