David Cassidy left most of his estate to son, left out daughter

The actor and singer was survived by daughter Katie, 31, who was born out of a relationship with model Sherry Williams, and son Beau Cassidy, 26, whose mother is Cassidy's third wife Sue Shifrin.

"It is my specific intent not to provide any benefits to Katherine Evelyn Cassidy and/or any descendant of Katherine Evelyn Cassidy", the will states, according to the site.

The last will and testament of David Cassidy has now been released, and many are shocked to discover that he has omitted his daughter Katie Cassidy from receiving any of his estate.

Meanwhile, Cassidy also mentioned his three half siblings in his will, and they will receive anything "music memorabilia". "I've never had a relationship with her", he said of Katie.

David Cassidy, who became a teen heartthrob playing Keith on the 1970-1974 ABC musical sitcom about band "The Partridge Family", died of liver and kidney failure on November 21 following years of substance abuse and, he revealed earlier this year, dementia. She has a completely different life. The 67-year-old singer was estranged from Katie Cassidy for several years, though they had reconciled before his death, and so his legal arrangements reflected the distance between them, leaving his $150,000 assets to son Beau.

Beau, however, remained close to his father throughout the final years of his life, during which Cassidy battled drug and alcohol addiction and financial problems, declaring bankruptcy in 2015.

"I've never had a relationship with her", he told People.

He said, however, that he was proud of her achievements as an actor. "She's very talented", he said.

Katie did, however, make an appearance on a 2011 episode of "The Celebrity Apprentice" to support her father who competed on the reality TV series' fourth season. "'It's hard for me to even accept how old she is now, like 30". It is not clear how Katie feels about her removal from the will, though she appeared to be extremely affected by her father's death.
