Vivo V7 launched in India: specifications, price and more

The Chinese OEM has apparently made use of the new 18:9 aspect ratio for the IPS display of the Vivo V7.

The Smartphone bears 32GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable through microSD card (up to 256GB) with a devoted aperture. The rear camera can record 1080p videos.

Apart from near bezel-less screen, another highlight of the smartphone is its 24-megapixel front-facing camera that comes with modes such as live photo and portrait bokeh (DSLR-like shallow depth-of-field effect). The phone also has 16 megapixels rear camera with PDAF and F/2.0 aperture to offer excellent photo experience.

Front camera: On the front, the V7 comes with a whopping 24-megapixel camera with LED flash. The handset runs on company's proprietary Funtouch 3.2 OS, which is based on Android 7.1 Nougat. Vivo did not mention any fast charging support it used in the Vivo V7. The camera can also take 64-megapixel high-resolution photos. It features the same design as the Vivo V7+, but the screen size is decreased to 5.7-inch from the 6-inch one seen on the V7+. It feels smaller in the hands. It also incorportaes Accelerometer, Ambient light, Proximity, Gyroscope sensors and E-compass. Furthermore, the display is covered by a 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone retains much the same specifications as its larger sibling, but, features a smaller battery, half the onboard storage, and a smaller display.

The Vivo V7 will be priced at Rs 18,990 on Flipkart and interested users can start pre-booking the device from today and the first sale will be conducted on November 24. Potential buyers can now pre-order the phone from the platform. The phone is Flipkart exclusive and comes with various launch offers.
