It is still unclear what sparked Lee's rage, but head coach Rod Reed immediately dismissed him from the sidelines and then kicked him off the team after the game.

Not only do those on the Tennessee State University football team sideline have to be wary of errant passes, an assistant coach apparently should have been ready for the fist of Tigers defensive end Latrelle Lee.

During Saturday's home game against Southeast Missouri State, Lee punched head strength coach T.J.

TSU won the game 23-20 in Nashville.

The Tigers offense was on the field at the time as Greenstone walked down the sideline telling players to move back if they were too close. The coach crumples to the ground after the second punch, while Lee's teammates look on. Before he was expelled, Lee was in his fourth year at Tennessee State as a criminal justice major.

University officials were informed and as of 10:30 a.m. on Monday the student has been withdrawn from school.

Tennessee State has one regular-season game remaining in the 2017 campaign against Jacksonville State on Thursday night.

Per the report, Greenstone is a former Vanderbilt player who oversees all of the school's athletic programs. In 2016, he made the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
