It also seems likely that Land Rover will announce the new Range Rover will come with a hybrid powertrain option, and there's little reason to assume it will offer anything much different to the Range Rover Sport. Also look for updates to the vent graphics, lower side accents, and rear bumper. A wi-fi hotspot can also support up to eight devices. The rest of the updated Range Rover lineup is now available for order.

The changes are more significant inside, mainly due to the fitment of Range Rover's Touch Pro Duo infotainment setup. Model-year 2018 Range Rovers usher in an updated grille, new front bumper with bigger vent blades, and a longer clamshell hood.

Earlier this month, Land Rover unveiled the first of many electrified SUVs it plans to release in the coming years: the 2019 Range Rover Sport P400e. One 10-inch screen controls infotainment functions, while the lower screen is in charge of climate and seat settings.

Pricing for the 2018 Range Rover starts at $88,345, while the Supercharged V8 starts at $105,845 after the destination fees are included.

Step inside and a new 12-inch display greets the driver, which provides instrumentation and also displays various vehicle information.

Range Rover claim the PHEV can drive for up to 51km on pure electric power, and that the 13.1kWh lithium-ion battery can be charged in 2 hours 45 minutes with a 32amp wall box or 7 hours and 30 minutes when using the standard home charging points.

"Parallel Hybrid" features two charge management functions, with "Save" preventing battery charge from dropping below a pre-selected level, while "Predictive Energy Optimisation" uses built-in Global Positioning System altitude data to maximise fuel economy when a satellite navigation route is selected.

Customers can use the InControl smartphone app to monitor charging status, along with receiving alerts if there has been an error or if the cable has been disconnected from the vehicle.

Potential buyers interested in the plug-in hybrid Range Rover will need to hand over £86,565, while the range-topping SVAutobiography Dynamic model is priced from £141,580.

The combined 404PS output (it is calculated as less than the two separate outputs) through the permanent four-wheel drive system means a 0-100kmh time of 6.8 seconds.

Five exterior colour options are available for the SVAutobiography, including Firenze Red (pictured) - exclusive to the flagship variant.

Other than the P400e and SVAutobiography, engine choices for the Range Rover are largely unchanged from the outgoing model. Unique features include a 22-inch wheel option, Graphite Atlas exterior highlights, and metal tailpipe finishers, while an array of interior trim options are available for added exclusivity.
