Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige Talks Easter Eggs, Phase Four, and Much More

Spider-Man: Homecoming has fans scratching their heads over a wrinkle in the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline, and studio president Kevin Feige said Marvel Studios plans to officially clarify it. However, this simple explanation can not be all that there is to left to learn about her whereabouts, because when Carol Danvers joins the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Avengers 4, somehow I doubt that she will be 20-30 years older than she was in her 1990s-set solo film.

Captain Marvel will be added into the world of MCU by 2019.

The problem did not come with just a single scene, but the overall timeline of the story. However, he did admit that the release date and format in which the timeline will launch is unclear-similar to the phrasing he used about not knowing where or when a possible Marvel Con would take place. How we will renew ourselves, and where we will go, this will be for another time. How is this all working out timeline wise?

The timeline of the movies has often appeared to be in a slight state of flux - much of Phase One supposedly happened in the space of one week; the Guardians of the Galaxy movies were released three years apart, but the events of the sequel are just a few months after the first - and now Marvel are going to clear the whole thing up.

Kevin Feige: All of that debate has encouraged us. It was earlier revealed that the character's standalone origin film will take place in the 1990s. but now, fans are curious to know the whereabouts of the character (Carol Danvers) during all the events that took place so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the 90s.

This isn't the first time that Marvel is going to release an official timeline, either.

Yeah, I think some of that has been blown out of proportion. Marvel has always worked, at least in cinema, by Phases, we say that the next two Avengers should put an end to what has been called Phase 3, and there is no doubt that there will be a Phase 4 saw the popularity and constantly renewed by these productions. By doing this, we pursue to its conclusion a arc narrative unprecedented, spread over 22 films and we hope to complete in the best way.
