Mark Hunt Destroys Dana White For UFC Fight Night 121 Removal

"I just hope that if it does happen, it will be in an honest and fair competition".

However, the 43-year-old, who has spent 20 years as a professional prizefighter, opens the essay by conceding a variety of cognitive and neurological symptoms consistent with the early signs of CTE.

"Like his memory loss, things like that, it's all gonna get worse, and I understand some fighters wanna fight it out to the bitter end, and Mark Hunt is probably a prime example of that". While it appears as though "Hunt was removed from the card due to medical concerns", per, the veteran fighter was not happy with such a decision - to say the least.

'The truth is the legal case I have filed has caused me to be withdrawn. Upon finding out about his removal from the November 19 card, Hunt posted quite the strong response on his Instagram account, which can be found here (NSFW Language).

The Kiwi heavyweight was due to headline the event against Poland's Marcin Tybura but was replaced on Wednesday by former champion Fabricio Werdum after Hunt confessed to slurring his words and losing his memory in a recent article.

Lesnar tested positive for a banned substance in samples taken two weeks before the bout and on the night of the fight itself.

"The health-related statements made by Hunt in the article represent the first time UFC was made aware of these claims", the official said. Athlete health and safety is of the utmost importance to the organization and it would never knowingly schedule an athlete complaining of health issues for a fight.

The heralded mixed martial arts promotion originally had Tybura squaring off with Sydney resident and New Zealand native Mark Hunt.

Hunt has three fights remaining on his current contract and an official told Australia's Daily Telegraph he would have to undergo further testing and evaluations prior to competing in any future UFC bout.

Hunt took to Instagram to express his frustration at not being able to fight Tybura and aimed an expletive-laden message at White.
