Kit Harington On 'Game Of Thrones' Ending At The Right Time

Rose was not messing around, because Kit did it and hilariously said his ensemble at the costume party "was really embarrassing".

Kit also had to don period costume for his role in TV drama "Gunpowder" and he claimed he now has a "problem" where modern dress in other roles, such as when he played a former MI5 agent in 2015 spy film "Spooks: The Greater Good", makes it harder to get into character. "I'm looking forward to finishing, and eight years is the right amount of time", Harington says.

Though it's going to be a painful goodbye for everyone in Game of Thrones, Harington thinks that season 8 is the right time for the story to end and everyone involved in the series' production to part ways. "I was exchanging emails with David [Benioff] Dan [Weiss] last night and we were all getting very soppy and emotional with each other". Perhaps they thought you were method-acting and were preparing for your "Jon marries Daenerys and has to attend lots of fancy royal parties looking unseasonably glum" scenes!

Harington went on: "I understand now what they mean when they say it's my baby". I found the producing side of Gunpowder fascinating, I would like to do more of it.

The actor told the British gossip magazine Heat per The Daily Mail that the couple was browsing at a local costume shop when the woman who worked there came up to him and said, "You know, you really look like the guy from Game of Thrones, and I've got a Game of Thrones outfit". Even now, this early in production of the final season, emotions are setting in.
