Aguero accepts prospect of Man City signing Messi is 'complicated'

Manchester City have fuelled rumours that Sergio Aguero will return sooner rather than later, after they shared a video on Twitter showing the forward walking out to train.

"The money isn't a problem here", Aguero told TyC Sport .

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has revealed his recent vehicle crash in Amsterdam, which resulted in his suffering a broken rib, could have resulted in his death had he not worn a seatbelt.

The 29-year-old was injured in a auto crash in Amsterdam last month and missed City's 1-0 win over champions Chelsea and both of Argentina's 2018 World Cup qualifiers but returned to light training for the league leaders earlier this week.

Speculation about the future of Messi has been rife for several months now after the Argentinian superstar - who scored a hat-trick to book his country's World Cup place on Wednesday - entered the final year of his contract at Camp Nou.

Following criticism for his decision to go to Amsterdam in the days building up to City's important fixture against Chelsea, Aguero has defended his actions saying players often go overseas on their days off.

Aguero added: 'I'll rejoin the group and see how I feel, whether I'm comfortable or not'.

The 29-year-old traveled to the Netherlands on a day off but was involved in an accident as a passenger.

"But I think Messi, like [Cristiano] Ronaldo, are players who are symbols of their clubs and it's hard for them to leave". Back to training. I am ready!
