Mike Myers Reportedly Cast in 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Biopic

The man behind Austin Powers may be about to join the cast of Bohemian Rhapsody, the biopic on Freddie Mercury and his rock band Queen that Bryan Singer is preparing to shoot this fall, reports Deadline.

Now, some no-good villain has snuck onto the movie's set and captured some illicit footage of a recreation of Queen's iconic 1985 Live Aid show, complete with some dancing and some vocals that are nearly certainly too good to be true. There are also shots of Malek sitting at the piano and miming "Bohemian Rhapsody", which is also the title of the film.

The footage also features Gwilym Lee portraying Queen's Brian May, Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor and Joseph Mazzello as John Deacon.

Tell me you don't get chills watching this.

Myers' infamously performed Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody in Wayne's World and is one of the standout moments of the 1992 comedy. And since we all know how Malek will look like as Mercury...

It's not clear who Myers would be playing in the movie, which has already begun filming in the UK.

Bohemian Rhapsody opens December 25, 2018.
