In Mother!, Jennifer plays the young wife of a poet, played by Javier Bardem, whose seeming idyllic life is ruined when two strangers turn up, played by Ed Harris and Michelle Pfeiffer.

The actress also expanded on what makes the Black Swan director so great at what he does: 'His point of view, his artistic uniqueness'.

"He told me his ideas and I thought that they were just brilliant and unique and challenging".

Lawrence spilled the details with Vanity Fair about Pfeiffer intimidating her on set.

Then there is Penelope Cruz, who visited Javier on set.

Darren told "Entertainment Tonight" when asked if their romance affected their professionalism: "Not at all - I mean, she's very, very relaxed". She brought so much. "And finding a more sort of vulnerable, softer part of myself that I think I had been like covering up or shoving away for a long time", Lawrence said.

The actress also revealed how she tried to keep her sanity when she was shooting the film: A few episodes of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and Bruce Springsteen's "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town".
