Hillary Clinton is coming to Denver in December. Here are the details

"It's part of the demonstration of the continuity of our government", Clinton said.

"And, you know, Bill (Clinton) just kept saying, "Oh, you know, that was a terrific speech", tryin" to just kinda bolster me a little bit.

The outcome of the election was crushing for her, leading to an "out-of-body experience" when she attended Trump's inauguration and heard a speech that sounded like "a cry from the white nationalist gut", she said.

Hillary said that she still very much enjoys her second home, despite losing the election just three months after she bought the property.

Clinton uses the memoir to reflect on her 2016 loss to Trump, casting blame for the upset on everyone from former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey to Democratic primary rival Bernie Sanders and sharing some of it herself.

"But let's set the record straight: we always knew that the industrial Midwest was crucial to our success, just as it had been for Democrats for decades, and contrary to the popular narrative, we didn't ignore those states", said the former US Secretary of State. Martin went on to note "writing this book is opening old wounds, re-litigating a past and it doesn't help move the party forward. I can't understand it".

She will begin hitting the road in the coming weeks to support the book, including a stop in Ann Arbor. "He ends up in the Oval Office".

'He could have called me up ... and say, "Hey can we look at this new stuff?'" This is really tough.

And when asked about the Access Hollywood tape that revealed a recording of Trump boasting about sexually harassing women, Clinton said there was a large amount of people who just didn't care about it. "It's real. It's reality for sure".

Clinton, who is now promoting her new book, "What Happened", which documents the turbulent 2016 election, acknowledged that she deserved some of the blame for her failed 2016 presidential bid and specifically criticized her campaign's failures.

But she also cited former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey's announcement just 10 days before Election Day that the agency was again reviewing Clinton's emails.

The book opens up into the more emotional side of the campaign too, including the night of the election itself when Clinton realised that she had lost.

The ex-US diplomat wrote on her memoir that President Barack Obama told her in 2013 and 2014 that she should be prepared immediately to run for United States president, because he was utterly sure that it was the best chance for Democrats to remain ahead of the Executive. Bernie Sanders for making what she said were unrealistic campaign promises, and Vice President Joe Biden for his criticisms of her inability to connect with some white working class voters.
